Library
The library is the temple of intellect, the birthplace of ideas, and provides impetus to imagination. SIASTE feels proud that it has tried to secure the perpetuation of ideas and knowledge through the library, where inquiry and curiosity set wings on fire. The Institute has a well-equipped and well-managed Library and Documentation Centre. Members of the faculty, staff, students of the Institute, and the participants of various programmes take advantage of the facilities made available by the library. It has more than a thousand books, a section of donated books, a regular supply of four dailies, and other teaching and learning materials.
The Institute library has a rich collection of international and national publications in various subjects and nearly 4016 books, 2064 titles, 01 Journal, 03 encyclopaedias, and 05 magazines/periodicals. SIASTE staunchly believes in 3Ls, i.e., Library, Learning, and Liberation. The institute has subscribed to various digital resources such as N-List, ONOS, etc., and has maintained a separate digital corner with 10 PC nodes equipped with internet to access Open Access Journal and E-resources. The Institute also publishes an online journal (J-SIASTE with ISSN: 3049-2629) [www.jsiaste.ac.in]. The institute library has a seating capacity of 80 students with a newspaper corner. Apart from it, the library is equipped with basic amenities like a reprographic and internet facility.
